Submission deadline: December 1, 2026 · Review: double-blind · Fees: none · Submit to: submissions@appliedwm.com
Early submissions are encouraged and receive preference. Manuscripts are reviewed on a rolling basis as they arrive; papers submitted well before the deadline receive earlier review, more time for revision, and priority consideration for placement in the inaugural volume.
About the Journal
The Journal of Applied Wealth Management (JAWM) is a peer-reviewed academic journal established to bridge the persistent gap between the research literature and the daily practice of wealth management. Too much of what scholars learn never reaches the advisor's desk; too much of what practitioners know never enters the literature. JAWM exists to carry knowledge in both directions.
Our readership spans academics, practicing wealth managers and financial planners, attorneys and accountants serving private clients, financial-service providers, regulators, educators, and the students preparing to enter the profession. Manuscripts should be written to be read — and used — by all of them.
Theme of the Inaugural Volume
The inaugural volume is open to the full scope of the Journal. We are especially interested in work that takes a rigorous method to a question a practitioner would actually ask, and that ends with a clear statement of what the findings mean for practice.
